Apps labeled as Quick Connect can be securely connected immediately, which takes about less than 1 minute per app and typically requires minimal login details like an email address or API key. Guided Connect apps need some initial work with our team before they can connect, such as: customization, additional coding, and working with API requirements. Adding Actions
Glances Actions empower you and your teammates to complete time-saving tasks across different business apps without navigating away from your work. For apps already supported by Glances, many Actions are built in and ready to roll depending on the apps you have connected (such as Aircall, QuickBooks, Stripe). However, adding new Actions typically takes 3-5 business days. If your Action in mind requires an app that is not currently supported by Glances, that would first require the app to be added through the special process detailed next.
Adding Apps
Depending on the complexity of a requested app’s API, requirements, and review process (including communications between their development team and ours), adding a new app to Glances can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks. Some platforms make this process quick and painless, while others have detailed lists of requirements in place. Either way, we review the app and its API to provide you with our best estimated time of completion.
Adding Data Mapping
Data mapping specific fields between your favorite apps takes Actions to the next level and shaves off additional time from your daily tasks. For example, this process can enable customer data from one platform to auto-populate in a form for another platform, all while you work within Glances. Basic mapping of common fields for supported apps takes about 1 week. For new data mapping fields within supported (or unsupported) apps, our team will be able to provide a timeline after a quick app consultation call.
Follow-up Support
Once a new app, Action, data mapping, or other customization to Glances is in place, our lead developers will follow-up with a helpful how-to video so you can see the changes in action and get started. If any further tweaks are needed, we will work through them with you.
