New vendor billing Actions added for QuickBooks Users

Since its launch, Glances has helped QuickBooks users shave off hours of time per week by automating time-consuming accounting tasks across their many business apps. While customer-focused Actions that support estimating and invoicing are extremely popular, what happens when your business needs to pay a vendor for completed work? As of this announcement, our development team has your vendor billing needs covered.

With two new QuickBooks Actions recently added, any Glances users with QuickBooks connected will now have the ability to 1) create new vendors in QuickBooks (and view existing vendors), and 2) create new bills to pay vendors (and view existing bills). These updates are automatically available for current and new Glances users. As usual, Glances Actions empower you and your team to handle these tasks (and many others) directly within Glances, so you can streamline workflows while continuing to work in your preferred platform or website.

How this update helps

Outside of saving serious time and clicks on everyday tasks, below are some immediate benefits of using these new Glances Actions for QuickBooks:

✔️ Enable users to update data without direct access to main QuickBooks account

✔️ Avoid double data entry and keep the accounting books clean

Getting started with these new QuickBooks Actions

Once you have connected QuickBooks with Glances, you can click to open Glances anywhere online to access the Actions menu and start creating new vendors and bills directly from Glances. Follow these next steps:

Create New QuickBooks Vendor

1. Open Glances and enter your vendor’s name in the search bar. If no results come up, you will need to add them as a new vendor.

2. From the customer view, click the Action menu in the top right corner

3. Select QuickBooks Vendor

4. Edit the form details with your vendor’s information (or utilize our pre-filled forms feature)

5. Click Create Vendor to add this contact as a vendor in QuickBooks

Create New QuickBooks Bill

1. Open Glances and enter your contact’s name (vendor) in the search bar

2. From the customer view, click the Action menu in the top right corner

3. Select Create QuickBooks Bill

4. Edit the form details for your new bill

5. Click Create Bill to add to QuickBooks
